Student work may only be entered by its respective author who is currently enrolled or was enrolled in an accredited educational institution no more than one (1) year prior to this year's submission period. Student work is limited to creative works done in a classroom environment or otherwise for academic purposes. Students may either be Alaska residents enrolled in institutions within or outside of the state of Alaska or nonresidents enrolled in an Alaskan Educational Institution. Freelance work done while enrolled in school is not usually considered student work since money/services were presumably exchanged, but if you have further questions or want to request an exception due to your unique circumstances, please reach out to an event organizer. The student work rate is only $15/entry and a $10 discount is also available for current AIGA Members.
